I’m a content marketer, writer, speaker, and strategist.

For the past seven years, I’ve crafted stories that help brands position themselves, explore the trends shaping our uncertain future, and inspire people to take action.

And I’m passionate about it.

3 things I can do for you:

  • I’ve always had a knack for storytelling, thanks to years of acting classes (and just generally being a tad dramatic) as a kid.

    Luckily, this ability has served as a great foundation, from which I strengthened other skills.

    Skills like establishing a clear, compelling voice and tone for a brand – which I’ve honed throughout my experiences with copywriting, content marketing (more on that below), and devising web copy strategies.

    Storytelling also proved particularly useful during my time as the Director of Trend Strategy at TrendWatching. I conducted boatloads of research to spot cross-industry trends and tell the stories – to both clients and the world at large – of how they emerged.

    This often involved me running innovation workshops (one-off and as part of larger workshop series) for companies like Timberland and A&E (keep scrolling for more). I helped them find the narratives they wanted to share, through the lens of the trends influencing their customers. Our work together shaped these brands’ global marketing strategies, product development, and more.

  • I’ve wielded my PowerPoint wizardry to build out numerous pitch decks, sales decks, trend presentations for companies and industry events, as well as webinar content.

    My keynote style juxtaposes industry updates with deep human needs, actionable advice with pop culture references, serious data with well-placed GIFs (which, by the way, prompted a certain CEO to grant me the unofficial title of “GIF Queen”).

    Plus, I’m pretty good onstage – whether that stage is an actual stage at an event or at the house I was trapped in during the Texas deep freeze (true story).

  • For around three years, I wrote a daily newsletter with 120,000+ subscribers – equating to hundreds of pieces. More recently, a weekly series on sustainable innovation. So you could say I’ve gotten a lot of practice running newsletters.

    Furthermore, I’ve created a number of content marketing programs, all encompassing a range of components: webinars, expert speaker series, long-form reports, physical books, and more.

    In terms of topics, my work has centered around marketing, consumer behavior, and innovation – but I can cover anything. You name the subject, I’ll write.
